All-in-Ones
All-in-Ones
An All-in-One (AIO) cloth diaper is an easy to use alternative to disposable diapers.
The All-in-One diaper has an outer layer of waterproof fabric (either PUL or TPU) and then has absorbant materials sewn in. The absorbant materials vary, depending on the style of the diaper, but they are typically made out of cotton, microfiber, bamboo and/or hemp. There is no need to stuff or fold or snappi with an AIO!
There are a few AIO's that use snap-in soakers instead of sewn in soakers. And you will notice that some AIO's have the soakers sewn in loose layers. The reasons for this are to allow water to penetrate the layers of the diaper easier during the washing process, therefore, making the diaper easier to clean. With the snap-in soakers, you also have the option of unsnapping them and tossing the inserts into the dryer, cutting the drying time in half.
AIO's can be a little slow to dry and are a little more expensive than some other options out there. But you cannot beat the convenience and ease of use!
Many people have AIO's as their babysitter diapers or for daycare or for when they are going to be out and about. Available in snaps or aplix, side or front-snapping, soaker sewn in or snapped in, cute prints or solid colors, natural fiber or synthetic fibers, there are many options.
Unsure what would work best? Please contact me, I would love to help guide you! Or, consider a cloth diaper trial!
