Diaper Covers

Diaper Covers are what makes your cloth diapers waterproof! They are made out of a variety of materials and styles. Some are wipe clean, some are lined with a softer material, some are a combination of both. They come in velcro closure, snap closure, one size, two size, and sized. There are covers that are cut trim and are great for trifolding and others that offer a bit fuller coverage and work well over prefolds and fitteds. Wool and fleece are also used as covers. Wool requires handwashing and must be lanolized to maintain it's ability to repell moisture. It is wonderfully breathable and a top choice for an overnight solution for heavy-wetters and rash-prone babies. Fleece can be used as well, and simply requires being machine washed, but it is not quite as good repelling moisture as wool.
